2021 World Pumpkin Weigh-Off

Some of the largest pumpkins in the world were judged at the World Pumpkin Weigh-Off the help of a floor scale provided by Precision Scale & Balance. As is tradition, we set up a scale at The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, NY, where a parade of pumpkins and other gourds awaited their weigh-in. First-place honors went to David Duboy, whose monstrous pumpkin weighed 1,359 pounds! Precision Scale & Balance is a longtime sponsor of The Great Pumpkin Farm, which is New York's largest fall festival. The popular weigh-off competition is typically held the first weekend in October. As one of the largest calibration companies in NY, we take accuracy seriously, whether a scale is used in an industrial or laboratory setting or to determine the rightful winners of a giant produce contest.
