Precision Scale & Balance recently renewed our accredited calibration certification through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
To complicate this rigorous biennial assessment, this year’s audit was held virtually for the first time due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions. During the filmed audit, our technicians demonstrated their expertise calibrating scales and balances, calibration weights, pipettes, thermometers, and electrical and dimensional equipment, among other instrumentation.
There have been some changes to our scope, which is available on our accreditation page. In particular, we encourage current and prospective customers to review our new mass metrology uncertainties. Due to continued investment in state-of-the-art calibration equipment and training, we count ourselves among the best calibration companies in the country in mass metrology. We are proud to have maintained A2LA accreditation since 2004. Our current accreditation is valid through Oct. 31, 2022.
