Field Service Technician
Syracuse, NY (CNY Region)
Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Perform installation, inspection, calibration, repair and maintenance of industrial and laboratory weighing and measurement equipment

Complete service documents and test reports for review with customers and submission to customer support center
-
Provide top-notch service to customers while always maintaining a good attitude and appearance
-
Traveling to customer facilities to provide service (occasional overnight trips)
-
Provide consultation and quotations to customers for products and services
-
Comply with Precision Scale & Balance policies along with customer, OSHA and DOT regulations
Job Requirements (Skills & Abilities):
-
Excellent customer service skills
-
Strong electronic and mechanical aptitude
-
Valid driver’s license; CDL (Class B) preferable but not required
-
Ability to work under pressure, alone and as part of a team, in variable working environments
-
Be able to pass background checks, drug screening, and physical exam (pre-employment and as required by customers)
-
Must be able to safely lift, push and pull 50+ pounds on a regular basis
-
Represent yourself and the company in a positive, professional and ethical manner toward customers, co-workers and vendors
-
Proven organizational skills to maintain inventory on company assigned service truck and complete jobs within an effective/efficient schedule
-
Detail oriented to accurately process paperwork within specified deadlines
-
Basic knowledge of computers and software
-
Knowledge of ISO 17025 is helpful

Will train qualified candidate
